We are beyond excited to announce our very first artist collaboration project with the legendary cartoonist Monte Wolverton! He has contributed artwork to two exclusive new designs that are now available only through Nerd Chic Boutique.
First up is the stellar Wolverton Far Out Cotton T-Shirt Hoodie, a soft hoodie tee covered in Wolverton's signature psychedelic space creatures. Strange blob monsters and cosmic beings fill the trippy artwork on this super limited-edition piece.
We also have the mind-bending Wolverton Trippy Vastscheme Fleece Pullover Hoodie. Its fleece fabric features Monte's iconic abstract tiles in a mesmerizing vastscheme of kaleidoscopic colors and patterns.
Monte Wolverton's surreal, fluid ink style is unmistakable and we could not be more honored to debut these imaginative new creations. As the son of famous cartoonist Basil Wolverton, Monte has built an acclaimed career creating satirical illustrations for Mad Magazine in the 1990's and his own editorial cartoons which he has drawn for over 25 years and internationally syndicated by Caglecartoons.
He has participated in the St.-Just-le-Martel Editorial Cartoon Festival in France and served twice as a judge for the Xiamen International Animation Festvial in Xiamen, China. He serves on the board of the Association of American Editorial Cartoonists, and is a member of the National Cartoonists Society and France-Cartoons.
